As Salāmu Alaikum! 
Welcome to The Illuminated City, our pages to educate both Muslims and non-muslims about our dīn. We have a new downloads section, which includes images and PDFs. If you have any Islāmic artwork you would like to showcase, why not submit it to our site?
The main focus of this site is to provide information and guides for reverts, but we also have a section for existing Muslims and another for da'wah purposes. We are still adding articles to this site, and hope to have more comprehensive information soon, inshā Allāh.

Guides update
I am sorry, but I have very much fallen behind with the writing of the guides for new Muslims. As I'm the only person who actually does any real work on this site it is hard for me to keep up with the myriad of projects I'm responsible for. I am therefore looking for a volunteer to assist in the writing of guides. If you are interested in doing so, please contact me using the feedback form. The guides need to be written according to either the Hanafi school or the Maliki school (or both, depending on the guide). I currently need someone to do the following:
- A beginner's guide to learning the Arabic alphabet and reading Quranic Arabic
- Taharah guide for women (this is half complete, I mostly just need someone to explain the rules of istihadah)
- Ramadan and fasting guide
